When all the studying don't matter,
When all the hard work we put in our career don't matter,
When all the relationships we try to salvage dont't matter,
When all the worldly things we try to accomplish don't matter,
One thing do really matter.
After going through the period of examinations, my mind's so tensed up that its going to snap.
So many things to worry for but there's little for me to do about it.
The wait for the results and the GPA...
Year 1's now gone, while reflecting, i realised I've not put in enough effort in doing what I'm supposed to, especially sem 1.2. When all that cares and concerns given to me, i failed them. I knew i won't do well for this semester. I just had to hand it to God.
On 11 Mar 2009, i received my results. (B)(B)(B)(D)(D)(D)(F)
It could have been worse. . .Nevertheless thank God for the results.
As expected, or should i say, as God has planned, he wants me to retake my maths yeah.
From a positive view, would i want to end my maths journey by passing a maths test mediocrely,
i was once maths genius in primary school yeah, teachers praising me about how nice my modals are and how neat my workings are. . . I remember once when the Maths Olympiad tried to recruit me, but i rejected them. HA. ( hope karen's not reading this :P)
Anyway, i have to do my Maths Supp paper in the coming week. My very last Maths paper.
And i am free from the bondage of Maths, my best buddy in primary school and my most hated friend in secondary and poly.
In the meantime, holiday isn't holiday. I actually signed up for Global citizenship for CDS. So for the past week, it has been lectures and tutorial. I never regret choosing this subject because it has prevented me from rotting at home and it will be able to let me learn much more abt CHEENA, BEIJING. Thank God for good group mates and roommate.
It has been so long since i entered the museum. Ystd was school trip to Asian Civilisation Museum. KangXi artefacts actually came to Singapore from the forbidden city few days ago, as reported in LIFE section of Strait Times. I've always thought a ticket into the museum is 15 to 25 bucks but its only 8 bucks. Worth the go. Get to see so many things.
There's informations and artefacts of West Asia, Southeast Asia, South Asia, Singapore River and Kangxi Emperor. Sometimes, when foreigners asked us about our local history, we get stuck and we ought to be ashamed. All we know is SANG NILA UTAMA ( is this how u spell his name)
Holidays quite fullfilling as u can see. Also there's the cage where we played soccer, BBQ at karen's with brothers and jiemeis & enjoying myself at home. Finally a holiday that is not disorganised :)
At times, as i tinker, there's a few incidents in which i really don't want to get myself into.
Things that . . . i shouldn't even be in there in the first place. And get stuck in there.
I dont't know how will it change. Pray about it.
One thing that matters.
Jesus.
